Tokyo Chill

I've always wanted to visit Japan in springtime as cherry blossom season bathes the city in petals of pink and fields of green.  I imagine packing a picnic on an all day excursion to the local park eating out of bento boxes while people-watching Harajuku-style.  But knowing me, a last-minute decision would include none of the above and instead opt for Tokyo in late December, when tourists are at a low and picture perfect snow is at an all time high.  I'm mentally packing as we speak.
