On the Fence

I've been posting tons of ensemble pix lately but it's only because

     a) My social calendar's been crazy busy
     b) Trying not to miss any opportunity to document me stylin' profilin'
     c) Kinda (just a tad) lazy to post actual copy

It's just a phase guys...we'll be back to editorials, interiors, and events in no time. Although Fall's creepin' right around the corner so at least a wardrobe change is in the works. Consider this the transitional outfit that's a sneak peek into the transformation....Ahhhh can't wait!!

OC Foodie Fest

Am I the only person in OC who hasn't heard of the Nom Nom truck ? Vietnamese Banh Mi hardly seems like a novel idea; however, when meals on wheels arrives and two of the cutest little Asian chicks from reality television serve up sizzling lemongrass chicken sandwiched between hot and steaming baguettes I'd probably line up halfway down the block too. Too bad all of OC foodies felt the same resulting in 2-hour wait times and a sold-out truck by 4pm (with 3 hours to spare) leaving hungry and desperate aficionados (like myself) wondering when's the next time Misa and Co. are due for a comeback? Check out their SoCal schedule HERE and you tell me whether they're worthy of becoming the next GREAT food truck.

In the meantime, check out Saturday's excursion to the Honda Center with over 50 gourmet food trucks, 85 degree heat, average 1.25 hour lines, and overall FUNFUNFUN...minus the tummy ache Sunday but well worth the GRUB and good times :D

Scarlet Fever

Hands down, RED is ABSOLUTELY my favorite color. You will always find some trace of the hue in each of my interiors, touched up, toned down, it always makes a cameo. It's just one of those rare colors that instantly amps the level of style in a space and sexy on a body. I just don't wear enough of it since the sight alone commands so much attention I'm better off relegating the pop to just my lipstick and call it even. The current trend on tastefully incorporating red without looking garish or even a bit brazen? Silence the shock with subtle nudes and watch how everything around you instantly becomes chic by association.  How many colors can do that?!?
