South Coast is finally coming up these days. If you're a designer living in the OC metro area, you're probably driving out to Laguna's or LA's Design Center at least every other week to specify for clients (I know I am). It's taxing having to traverse over the river and through the woods for one-stop shopping (not to mention quite pricy with those growing gas bills), but things are seeming to look up Pac. Coasters! SoCo has recently acquired Pal + Smith at the OC Mart MIX and I couldn't be more delighted!
Jam-packed with gorgeous jewel tones in a mix of vintage and modern furniture, P+S is every homeowner's answer to rocking out their pad in a super-POSH manner. Antique baroque-inspired furniture gets a funky update thanks to high-wattage hues and hi-lacquered finishes. Old world aesthetics are re-vamped and refinished to look like you just commissioned a European craftsman to fashion your entire living room for you. Even stackable ottomans could double as your pet's new divan! I literally gasped as I visited their new outpost and I'm sure you'll be just as enthused once you step foot into their stunning store! Some of my FAVE pieces below...
...and do you remember this feature in Met Home Magazine a few years back? Yup, it's Marc and Melissa Palazzo's (designers/owners of P+S) own home outfitted with the best of P+S pieces!
They're long-time residents of Costa Mesa, so if anything, come support our local community with coffee at Portola Coffee Lab, a brisk lap around the OC Mart MIX, and finally some design time at Pal + Smith! Saturday afternoons feature a farmer's market and Tues/Thursdays greet gourmet foodie trucks..check your local listings for new events HERE.
